The Tense AT-1200 is an industrial grade, heavy duty measurement current transformer (CT) engineered to step down high capacity primary line currents within commercial main switchgear and high power industrial distribution networks. Featuring a standardized transformation ratio of 1200/5A, this device safely scales massive alternating line currents up to 1200 A down to a manageable 0–5 A secondary output. This proportional lower amperage signal provides highly accurate, real time data monitoring for digital power analyzers, multi function energy meters, and automated grid management controllers. Outfitted with an expansive 60 mm rectangular/busbar window opening, it is custom tailored for drop in integration over heavy solid copper busbars or thick parallel phase cable bundles.
