Tense ATM-50C 50/5A Measurement Current Transformer
The Tense ATM-50C is a professional-grade, compact measurement current transformer (CT) engineered to step down high primary currents for safe monitoring by ammeters, energy meters, and automation controllers. Featuring a transformation ratio of 50/5A, this transformer converts an alternating current up to 50 A passing through its central window into a proportional 0–5 A secondary current. Outfitted with a 20 mm circular hole diameter, it allows clean drop-in deployment directly over standard insulated electrical cables and distribution wiring.
Key Features
-
Precision Current Step-Down: Delivers a reliable 50/5A conversion ratio, enabling accurate real-time current telemetry for low-voltage power networks.
-
20 mm Circular Window: Features a clean internal passage optimized for quick, non-invasive installation over heavy-gauge insulated copper or aluminum wires.
-
Integrated Terminal Safety Shielding: Outfitted with a clear, hinged plastic flip-top cover protecting the secondary terminals (S1 and S2) to guard operators against accidental contact.
-
Robust Flame-Retardant Casing: Enclosed in a compact, durable, self-extinguishing polymer body that withstands the high thermal conditions of active panelboard environments.
-
Flexible Mounting Brackets: Designed with integrated base flanges and retention hardware slots to support simple horizontal or vertical fastening within electrical control cabinets.
